Working with music, performing arts and visual arts since 1988, having worked in productions and projects for the popular, erudite and gospel markets, he currently works with “BELARMINO DA ROCHA Entertainment (259'GE, TEATREAR, etc)” developing social, cultural and Christian mission projects designed to bless underserved communities around the world.

About me…

Ismael Belarmino da Rocha Jr, better known as Ismael Jr, was born on November 28, 1975 in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). He grew up in a Protestant Christian home, and soon took his first steps in music, singing during services at First Baptist Church in Nova Esperança, a church located in the neighborhood where his family lived.

When he was 5 years old, his parents bought an (upright) piano for his older sister. There was born the love for the instrument that would accompany him for the rest of his life. So far, three and a half decades of great experiences have passed, all obtained through music and the arts.

Today he is the owner, executive director and artistic director of “BELARMINO DA ROCHA Group”, a multinational company, based in the Brazil (São Paulo), which operates in the production and management of music, dance, theater, cinema, sports and events.

BDR Group.

Belarmino da Rocha Group.

“BELARMINO DA ROCHA Group (BDR Group)” – International business group founded by “ISMAEL JR” with the aim of providing financial resources for the realization and maintenance of its future social, cultural and missionary projects. Additionally, the “BELARMINO DA ROCHA Group” is also responsible for the production, management, dissemination and distribution of all other projects produced and idealized by ISMAEL JR.

259'GE.

259'GE (259'GE, 259'GE Kids, etc).

The “259’GE” is certainly ISMAEL JR’s big dream. He always dreamed of the opportunity to combine his creative talent with the will to develop projects that could bring a better quality of life to needy people. Added to this, he also saw the need to carry out missionary projects where he could spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. Thus was born the “259’GE”. Being a international project made up of ordinary people, who voluntarily and anonymously decided to donate their lives, time and talents in the service of God.

TEATREAR.

TEATREAR (TEATREAR, TEATREAR Para Crianças, etc).

After forming “259’GE”, ISMAEL JR felt in his heart the desire to set up a socio-missionary project aimed exclusively at his country of origin. Brazil. This is how “TEATREAR” was born; Project formed by singers, musicians and performing artists (dance, theater, cinema, etc.); who, when acting completely voluntarily, dedicate their talents and time to the Praise and Worship of God.

ANGLOPHONE.

ANGLOPHONE (Choir, etc).

ANGLOPHONE is the newest project from “BDR Entertainment”. It was formed exclusively to reach and bless English speakers around the world. Initially formed by volunteers from the United Kingdom, Ireland, United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand; This project has already brought (in such a short time) many joys and fruits to the hearts of its founder, ISMAEL JR, and the entire “BDR” team.

LUSOFONIA.

LUSOFONIA (Choir, etc).

LUSOFONIA is the first project by “BDR (Belarmino da Rocha Entertainment)” aimed exclusively at speakers of a specific language. Formed by volunteers from Portugal, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Timor-Leste and São Tomé and Príncipe; “LUSOFONIA” produces and carries out projects developed exclusively for Portuguese-speaking people around the world.

Dona Silva Group.

Production and post-production studio of “ISMAEL JR”, where he creates, idealizes, builds and finalizes all his musical, theatrical, audiovisual and literary projects. The name “DONA SILVA” refers to the affectionate way in which people called ISMAEL JR’s maternal grandmother.
